Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya held detailed discussions with Silke Sicher (Global Affairs and Economics – Indo-Pacific and China Affairs, ZVEI) and Markus Schabol, CEO of EA Elektro-Automatic GmbH, at a high-level meeting with international investors and industry representatives in Frankfurt, Germany today. Shri Maurya also invited global industry leaders Siemens and NXP Semiconductors, along with other German companies, to establish business and production facilities in Uttar Pradesh.
In this meeting, the delegation along with the German investors included Shri Sunil Sharma, Hon’ble Minister, IT & Electronics, Alok Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Infrastructure & Industrial Development and OSD to Chief Minister Sanjeev Singh, UP.
Deputy Chief Minister briefed investors on the state’s achievements during the investment presentation —
- All approvals for setting up industries are available on a single platform through the “Invest Mitra” portal.
- The state has a huge consumer market, skilled human resources, and excellent connectivity.
- Expressways, airports, defense corridors, industrial corridors, and logistics parks are providing a conducive environment for investment.
- Food processing, electronics, renewable energy, textiles, and agro-based industries hold special potential.
Foreign delegates present at the meeting praised Uttar Pradesh’s industrial policies, quick approval system, and security arrangements and expressed serious interest in investing in various sectors. They stated that the state government’s active support and clear policy framework provide a highly positive environment for investment.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Maurya stated that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to providing all possible assistance to investors. He assured that the ease of doing business will be further simplified and all administrative hurdles in setting up industries will be removed on a priority basis.
He stated that increasing investment in the state will create large-scale employment for the youth and benefit farmers, small and medium-sized enterprises. The income of entrepreneurs and self-help groups will also increase.
The meeting concluded in a positive atmosphere, and several potential proposals for future industrial cooperation in Uttar Pradesh were agreed upon. The state government invited investors to establish industries in the state and assured them of cooperation at every level.
